Nearly ten years ago I took a year off. Did some writing, did some music. Wasn't too sad, wasn't too happy. No anxiety attacks. Or at least not that many. No money. Or at least not that much.

It was a good year up there in the attic of that old house.

I was shivering heavily during cold winter nights and had to make some happy beats to warm me up.

Lots of changes. Lots of ideas. Lots of potential.

Unfortunately, I lost the original files. Don't blame me. The reason (mainly drum programming) and the cubase files are still there. But the Arturia plugins simply don't work anymore which means that I can't work on these beats anymore.

It's true and I absolutely agree with you: "the plural of sheep" is definitely not my best album, Maybe it's not even an album.

It is a part of my past. And I would like to make that part of my life audible to people who are interested in my musical past.

These beats are roughs. These beats are sketches. They are neither properly arranged, mixed down nor mastered. They are what they are. It's all about acceptance these days, isn't it?
